Q: Is the SSP calculator accurate for my situation?
A: The calculator provides estimates based on the 2026/27 SSP rules — £123.25 a week or 80% of average weekly earnings, whichever is lower, paid from the first qualifying day, with no earnings threshold. Your actual entitlement may differ based on your specific employment contract, company sick pay schemes, and qualifying days pattern. Always verify with your employer's HR or payroll department.
Q: Does the calculator store my data?
A: No. All calculations are performed entirely in your web browser. We do not transmit, store, or have access to any earnings or sick pay information you enter.
Q: Can you help me with my SSP claim?
